• Pest de Resistance

This was one of our first products, as our family are mosquito magnets. After looking up all the chemicals in other common brands of personal insect repellents I was 100% sure I wasn’t going to dowse myself or my family in them.  We set about mixing many of the oils known to repel insects, especially mozzies and flies.  Our insect repellent is in virgin almond oil and if there are known nut allergies we also do it in an olive oil sourced in Albany. In using it we also found that all our gardeners out there love it as it is great when repelling the dreaded March Fly which have a nasty bite.

Benefits

Pest de Resistance can be applied as a repellent but is also really good at reducing the itch and inflammation from most bites as it contains many oils that have anti-inflammatory properties. This is one of our most popular products when people travel. We do recommend you don’t spend long times in the sun with it as it is oil based. We also recommend if pregnant you don’t apply directly to your skin and this also applies to children under 2 years of age, as it contains small amounts of rosemary and sage. I tend to recommend with the above, putting it on an inconspicuous area on hats or around on the ground if sitting outside.  Due to it being an oil based product it will mark clothing if it comes into contact.
